A Wii Motion Plus Review is the place to look for all the information needed to make an informed decision concerning the purchase of the Wii Motion Plus accessory available for Nintendo Wii.  Here are some answers to the questions:  What is the Wii Motion Plus? How much is it?  How does it work?  What are some of the problems?  Does the Wii Motion Plus work on every game?  Is it worth it?

What is the Wii Motion Plus?   It is an optional attachment that enhances the accuracy and response time between a player’s movements and the on-screen animation of those movements.   It attaches to the bottom of the Wii remote and looks so good one would think it came with the remote.

How much is it?  Purchase the Wii Motion Plus separately for as little as $15 from Amazon.com.  Other options include retail locations that sell the Nintendo Wii system and games.  It is also included in some game packages for the Wii Motion Plus.

How does the Wii Motion Plus work?  The Wii Motion Plus has two gyro sensors to more accurately detect players’ wrist and arm movements.  In addition, it is not solidly attached to the remote so it is more sensitive to those movements.  One of the complaints with the Nintendo Wii is that the movements are not accurately reflected; there is more of a waggle technique than actual skill involved.  The Wii Motion Plus makes the Wii remote much more sensitive to movement and increases the skill level of players.

What are some of the problems?  Some people think that the Wii Motion Plus attachment should be an extension of the Wii remote.  The flexibility of the attachment increases its sensitivity to motion.  Therefore, this is not really a problem at all but just a concern that has been brought up in customer reviews.  The Wii Motion Plus does not have the same effects in every game.  This is true.  Some games have better results than others do.  Sword games and disk golf games are a couple that play better.  Interference can come from nearby radio waves.

So if the Wii remote does not all seem to be working with the Wii Motion Plus try turning off nearby cell phones or radios.  It can also be reset by setting it keypad down on a table facing the Wii for ten seconds.  If it is still not working well there is a toll free number available.

Does the Wii Motion Plus work on every game? Only games that have the Wii Motion Plus are going to give the player the enhanced sensitivity that the attachment was designed for.  There is a built in pass through technology that allows other games to be played without removing the Wii Motion Plus but the games will not reflect the increased motion sensitivity.  Even Nun chucks can still be used without removing the Wii Motion Plus.

Is it worth it?  That is the big question and the answer is a resounding yes!  The Wii Motion Plus makes the Nintendo Wii play as it should have from the start.  The enhanced sensitivity lets players loose themselves in the game and makes physical activity much more physical.
